I’m having electrolsis and the hair above my lip is getting finer, but is still dark. As I’m TS and plan to start living as a woman full time, it causes an awkward sitation of having to have facial hair kept at a length the electrolysist can treat
This means going out as a woman with facial hair. I’ve seen facial hair lightening products which I’m considering. I would just like to know from the experts here… Can bleaching your facial hair make it grow stronger?
I bleached for years before I got laser and electrolysis and it didn’t do anything. The hair does get used to it after a while so you have to do it a bit more often.
I also bleached for years before i got electrolysis done. My upper lip treatment was fast, with no side effects from bleaching. But over the time, hair tend to look more greenish, if you bleach often.
Bleaching is fine. I almost prefer it for my clients that won’t shave. Surgical magnification and good lighting and positioning is a must for seeing ALL the bothersome bleached, blond hairs.
