Actually I just re-read over your post, and picked up on a few things so I wanted to revise what I said based on that just a little bit.
From your account , you’ve been doing a lot of temporary hair removal in the form of tweezing/waxing . I want to first of all talk a little about that, and why I dont recommend you continue to do so.
When you rip out the hair by the root, a couple of things happen. The first is, it can take 8-12 weeks for that hair to regrow to the point it is visible again. If a hair is not visible, we cannot remove it with electrolysis. Those hair that you have removed in the last 2-3 months are not available to be killed with electrolysis right now but will regrow over the next period. You would have had to stop using all temporary methods at least 12 weeks ago for us to get a true understanding of your hair problem.
When a hair it ripped out by these methods, it regrows. Often however the hair follicle reacts to the trama of having the hair forcibly removed by strengthening the blood supplying calillaries . Thus the hairs grow back stronger thicker and often darker. This happens over time to once vellus hairs when they are repeatedly ripped out over time.
What hair is visible to remove is not more than about 2 hours by any electrologist working with the right equipmment and skill. But it probably is not the end of the story as far as hair growth. Becauss you’e done temporary methodss, I expect those hairs will com in fast, over the next 8-12 weeks.
Your hair doesnt appear dense, and what is currently visible is removeable in under a couple of hours, and I recommend you do so. But more frequent treatments will be needed over the next six weeks to maintain it as clear as those previously plucked regrow.
The temporary methods are what is contributing to your “Problematic skin” , things like hyperpigmentation as well. Electrolysis usually improves the quality of the skin.
Your best bet is to cease all temporary methods, take the short bit of time to clear visible hair, then wait 6 weeks to do another clearance. A better estimate could be given to you at that time but what is showing in your picture, is probably decievingly sparse, because of temporary methods.
It doesnt have to be a ton of appointments a week. Establish full clearances, wait , retreat for another clearance. Break the cleanances into manageable chunks. What I would do is take a couple hours in one session and do the visible hairs. Then arrange to retreat for maybe 1/2 hour every 2 weeks for the first month. Your aim isnt to clear every time in a half hour but to get a guideline ad to how muuch regrowth there will be. Then you will pause all treatment for 6 weeks. Having cleared, or mostly over a month period the pause is to let al the hair grow in. Reassess at that time how long it will take for a clearance. Then break that time to get a second clearance into smaller chunks you CAN commit to and again, pause for six weeks after that is accomplished.
