Good laser clinics in Toronto

I’ve noticed that there are quite a few ppl from Toronto on here. But, still I can’t find a good recommendation for a laser clinic in the city. If you’ve gone to a clinic in Toronto (good or bad), can you please post where you went and your results?

Thanks!

btw, I’m type III perfect candidate for Alexandrite laser. Have been going for electrolysis twice a wk since september. Saw some results, but I think laser is better for me because the area I’m treating is a bit bigger.

Run a search here and on the Cosmetic Enhancements forum for “Toronto” and you will read all the discussions. There aren’t necessarily recommendations. Yes, people have tried clinics, but they wouldn’t necessarily recommend them. Search for some clinics that use an alexandrite laser like GentleLASE, GentleMAX, or Apogee and set up free consultations. You need to get a feel for the clinic you choose yourself.

The only reason I don’t recommend any is because I find that lots of places in Toronto use this forum as well. So I’ve found in the past coming on here and asking for advice about pricing and touch ups and so on works against you if your clinic is on here as well. So I won’t give any recommendations to anyone but it’s so easy to find out for yourself.

You can give it by private message if that’s easier.

I know, I just don’t think my clinic uses this forum so don’t want someone saying oh edokid from hairtell.com recommended me and then having them come find this  Either way my place is super easy to find if you’re looking for alex lasers in Toronto. If you don’t find my place then you’re not looking hard enough at all since I always even see Google sponsored ads on this page for it too.

You can ask the person not to mention your name or the forum.

@LAgirl: Thanks. Great advice. I have been searching for Toronto and while it did raise some flags and give some good suggestions on where to start, it really didn’t help me find a good place.

@edokid: I totally understand your concern, but it’s really dissapointing that you don’t want to share good recommendations. I have done many Google searches and compared several sites, but just like you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, I feel like you shouldn’t judge a clinic by its website. Thanks anyway. I guess I’ll just hope for the best…

Hey miss416 I found a really good clinic…I’ll PM it to you

Thank you!

I never said judge a clinic by it’s website and not go there. I said if you’re looking for an alexandrite laser in Toronto, do a google search. There’s less than 5 that come up that have either GentleLASE or Apogee Elite. My clinic is one of them I said and my point was anyone who’s saying they can’t find alexandrite clinics in Toronto is clearly too lazy to do any searching and would rather post here, as again the top of this page is even showing me google ads for 2 of the alexandrite clinics right now!

However, just because the clinic uses a specific laser does not mean that they know how to use it properly. Is that not true?

Annabella, that is of course true. You judge if they are competent with their laser by going for a consultation and finding out what settings they will use and how experienced they are.
