Hi,

I am about to begin my electrolysis treatment in Toronto. This is for my facial hair, below eyes, nose, ears and upper cheeks.

I have fine hair and laser it seems will not work as per some laser clinics.

I have heard it is critical to find a good electrologist.
Kindly guide me to a good one in Toronto, if you know of any.

I have been to two of them.

One put some cream on me , but while she plucked out the hair, it was painful. No red marks though

The second one did not apply any cream But there was no pain while removing the hair. It came out smoothly after the needle insertion She says there should be no pain while removing the hair. That is a good sign of electrologist. Have some redness on my nose though, gradually going away.

Kindly help to fine me a good electrologist in Toronto and if possible guide on who is the better of the two above

Number two sounds better, as long as the skin recovers completely within a few days. Tweezing is a big no no.

Number two sounds better to me as well. The first one was probably plucking the hair, so of course you didn’t have red marks if the follicles weren’t sufficiently damaged.

#2 sounds better, but what type of electrolysis are both providing? There are three kinds Galvanic, Thermolysis, and Blend. Which one your using will probably tell us why one hurts more than the other.
