Giving up my amatuer status

Some details need to be worked out, but starting in January I’m looking at no longer taking clients into my home. I’ve actually been working towards this for a while , working from home hasnt really worked well. Aside from bringing clients through my often messy home, there are aspects of environment I really cant control, including the rather slum area in which I live.

For the past year I’ve been talking to another electrologist, who, is about at her limits as to how much she can dedicate to her business. I met with her this morning, and we’ve both done the dance about where we want to go and do, and to make a long story short starting sometime in January I’m going to work from her office, at least initially on a part time basis. I’m thrilled to have professional premise to work from and the benefit of a highly skilled electrologist for advice. I wont say much more than that until we get going and see how it turns out, but I’m putting aside my amateur status probably permanently . To those few from here who I currently work on, nothing will change. You will still get your treatment.

Great news!

IT is. I can handle doing the treatments, but I’ve never attempted to run this as a business. There will be a learning curve. Thankfully, I’m partnering with a wonderful electrologist who has the business processes well established so that should help overcome those hurdles. I’m essentially apprenticing and having someone very skilled to do so under is huge deal too.

Indeed great news. Congratulations and good luck!

You definitely inspired me Beate as well as helping out with advice along the way .
