Getting my chest and stomach done is it worth it?

hi, im a 22 year old male im pretty hairy on my chest and stomach area im pretty white and got dark hairs just wondering if i would get any good results i just dont wanna waiste money on no results. I havent heard of much good results on guys getting chest done im just abit worried.

The chest area is worth a laser try. I think it responds pretty well from what I have seen. Stomach, too. Just get going with a good laser like an alexandrite with as much power (joules) as your skin can take

If you have the money now, try it. I didn’t try laser until I was in my 30s; however I’m happy with my results so far. The hair on my chest and abs is greatly reduced and much more manageable. The hair on my back has been all but obliterated. I don’t feel like a “beast” anymore.

When you do your abs, I would suggest going as far down as to the top of your pubes - that seems to me to have been a natural looking place to stop for me, instead of just above or below the belt line.

I tried laser 8 years ago on my chest (male) and it hurt lots and had no impact at all - and I ultimately gave up after 5 sessions (and lots of $$$)! Unfortunately, I don’t know which machine was used - I thought they were all the same (should have done some research).

Fast forward 6 years - I tried again 2 years ago with the Lightsheer, increasing the joules each time. I’m pleased to say i got real results and am really pleased - probably 75% reduction (i’m type 2 skin with medium to dark hair) and it looks natural.

Do your research, ask questions on this forum and then go for it.

Good luck.

thx guys, im going to a place for a consultation see what machine they are using and just ask a few questions i hope it goes well i really wanna get rid of this hair or some of it lol.
Ill keep use posted see how i go thx alot for ur comments.

Chest and stomach is an easy to treat area if the hair is dark and coarse and the machine is good and set at good effective settings.

You need to figure out which type of machine you should use using our FAQs below and then have 4-5 consultations at various clinics that have it. Finding a clinic with a good machine and that knows what they’re doing is what makes the difference.

I’ve thought about this as well, but I know my body well enough to know it would take more sessions than I could afford to get an actual clearing. So I’ve thought about going just once for what I know tends to produce (in me) a slight reduction in quantity and a change from thick hair to finer hair. The change in texture would be nice.

But I haven’t done so because I worry that I’d end up with a “bald spot” somewhere on my stomach or chest and then I’d have no choice but to go full-bore on a year of treatments. And I can’t do that; it wouldn’t match my arms or legs.

If you have missed spots, I’d ask for a touchup at 3 weeks since you’d see it at that point.

I would think the opposite might be true, where you’re more likely to find you have a “hairy spot” after only one session.
