Getting electrolysis done on arms

Hello,

I have decided to get electrolysis done on my arms. Previously, I thought laser would be a better option but since I don’t have coarse hairs I am not too sure about it. I have dark hair in numerous quantity on my arms.

How many hours do you think electrolysis will take and how long?

I’m not sure of how to post a picture to this site, but when I do figure it out I will edit this post.

Thanks for your help!

We’ll wait for a picture.

You can upload to a place like photobucket. Copy the IMG tag and then paste it in your post. That’s what I do!

Just testing, to make sure I told you correctly.

Yup, it works.

Hope this works

Edit: Yes, it uploaded. Do you think laser treatment would work or should I stick to electrolysis?

That is nowhere near dark or coarse enough for laser :frowning:

The image quality isn’t too great. The hair is actually meant to be appear darker but yes, it’s not coarse enough for laser I guess.

Could someone please share their experiences if they have had electrolysis on their arms. I tried the search button but couldn’t find much.

Hey, you can of course do electrolysis on this area, but have you ever tried just bleaching and possibly trimming? It might be the picture, but your arm hair doesn’t look bad to me!

Good luck.

I’ve been surprised by what laser did for hair that didn’t seem ideal for laser reduction. A few of my clients had a couple IPL sessions and it actually looked really good. So, that will have to be your call.

On the other hand, a couple of clearances with electrolysis may be all you will need. Pay for an hours worth and see how far it gets you so you can estimate what a particular practitioner can do for you, time wise . We can certainly weed out the thickest hairs and thin out an area to make it look less manly. Electrolysis is precise work. We work on individual hairs in order to visually impact an area for the better.

Thanks for your response everyone.

I’m currently seeing Christine O’Connell and she also suggested the same as you Dee. I was looking for feedback as to whether Laser would be appropriate but it doesn’t seem like it anymore.

Will keep everyone updated with progress on my arms once I start the procedure so it may help someone else who comes looking for the same information as me.
