Is it anything like pulsed light?
And is it the best choice for dark but thin hair on pale body in chest back and buttick areas… im male and almost 23…
Had about 5 treatments of laser… the first few I think were similar to pulsed light, not so effectvive… then a couple of gentlelase that had more effect… now on the final few shots I want make sure im using right laser…
appreciate any expert advice…

No, GentleLase is a laser. It is an alexandrite laser that “spits” a skin coolant on just prior to the laser zaps. It is a good laser and can be used on both thicker and finer hairs.
