frstrated

Hi group. Im a 47 yr old post op transsexual that has been going to electrolysis for 8 yrs now and STILL not cleared. i have NEVER missed a week in 8 yrs and I get totally cleared in 20 mins. Im black and i had a full beard when i started. my face is pretty much cleared totally, except upper lip. i didnt do that yet but my neck just wont go away. i have these bumps that are ruining my life. There is a hair in the bumps but 5 days later it seems the hair has come right back in the same spot. I was going to a woman who uses blend and i was seeing a lady who uses thermolysis. the blend seemed to get my neck under control but it STILL wont disappear. I have a competent electrolysis for thermolysis and i have also gone to e3000 for my genital hair removal and they did my neck when i went the 3 times and they arent doing anything any differently there then what my regular thermolysist is doing and STILL the hair wont totally go away. im totally tired of this and im 3 yrs post. the hairs arent curved anymore nor of they deep at all and still even the little vellous hairs seem to still come back. what can be done now at this point to stop it completely? i went today and i counted 17 hairs on one side of my neck that wear removed and 9 on the other but it isnt the hair thats so annoying, its the little bumps they form.

I was told that when the hairs are shallow and straight, you DONT turn the machine up high because the shaft isnt that shallow. When she zaps each hair and remove it, i dont feel them being removed so she ISNT plucking them. They slide right out.

HELP

Hi Missyzanta,

Do you mean you aren’t “done” yet?

It sounds like you may have experienced “piece-meal” destruction. This happens with the hair follicle doesn’t get completely destroyed and the follicle will grow a smaller diameter hair.

My transgender clients get “done” yet can still come back in a few years for a little cleanup…

I’m sorry that you are frustrated, but it sounds like you have had treatments by electrologists with good technique.

Wishing you the best,
Barbara

For some, the fuzz or finer hairs slowly transition to thicker hairs. This is the case for many regardless of those who are totally biological females or TGF.

Do you still visit every single week?
Those few hairs require 20 minutes?
