Free Electrolysis Treatments in VA!

Hello,

I am an electrology student working on my certification in Virginia (Great Falls/Alexandria) and I am looking for people who would be willing to allow me to work on them at the school I attend in Great Falls. Dark skinned individuals are great candidates. The 1st few sessions are free, than the rate is half off the normal price (Student pricing). If you know anyone in the VA/DC/MD area that are interested, please let me know. This is my passion and I love this line of work.

Thank you!

What kind of epilators do you use at your school? Will the instructor be close by to offer guidance as needed. Are you restricted as to what areas you can work on? Are you only allowed to do body work at this point or are you encouraged to do facial electrolysis, as well? I hope you get lots of PM’s.

Thanks,

Dee

Hello Dee,

We use Gentronics and Apilus machines. I work on several body areas including the face, bikini area, back, under arms, and neck line to name a few. Most of my clients have facial work done. An instructor is always present and no cases of scarring or pitting have occured, just very happy clients. I am so pleased with the intense education provided through the Ana Visage Institute. I hope many more take advantage of the savings!

Those are good epilators. I hope you have some takers.

I know this is an old posting but…
Is this Ms. Padrica my long lost, moved far far away client??
If so I tried to send you pictures with no luck.

You should probably email her at the email address given in the first post. Odds are, she doesn’t even read this forum anymore.

Yes! It’s me! I check here every once in a while! Send pictures to padrica.norfleet@gmail.com…I am still interested and thank you for the exceptional results! I wil call you by the close of the week also

Oh, if only you were close to L-burg and you were still in the learning stages! I’ve just got the nerve to look up hair removal procedures and electrolysis sounds like a dream come true. Now if only I had cash lying about…

Is it common for students to offer free or severely discounted electrolysis? I would totally let them practice on me! I wonder how one would go about finding students who need guinea pigs…

Actually, it is very common for students or recently trained electrolysis practitioners to make some sort of offer like that. Here on the board, we have also had people try to find partners for exchange of what we like to call “Do Each Other Electrolysis” since “Do It Yourself” is nearly impossible in many cases.

The important thing is that without consistent work, the student can’t experience all the different types of hairs, and insertions and learn to adjust both treatment energy and insertion technique to fit the person and the area they are working on. At the very least, one feels much better if one knows that one has fully cleared someone to the point of permanence, at least once, before shopping one’s skills at full retail.

If you have a school of electrology near you (you are very fortunate if you do, there are not many of them), they usually offer a student discount rate, something like 50-75% the going rate.

If you are still unable to find a school student and really wanted the work done free/cheap and willing to take a bit of a risk, you could seek out some like me who is a DIYer who is looking to trade electrolysis work with someone.
