For jonhyvb

This is the case that I have spoken. Severe hypertrichosis in back man. 2 sessions of Laser before starting Electrolysis.

Before,

Immediately after 2 hours and a few minutes of Electrolysis.

Multiplex System in Apilus Platinum. All hairs in the area were removed with the fingers without resistance, (tweezers were never needed)

15 days later.

Area treated equivalent to two palm of my hand.

Side effects: Swelling, redness and scabings. Forecasts: death in more than 80% of hairs in this area. If this man interrupted the treatment here, this patch always make a difference with the right side.

Curious what your setting would be for this? (Using Platinum) I would start with synchro, back, 4, and a .004 iso-guard. Am curious how close or how far apart we all are with the current applications.

Hello dear Barbara.
I must see my notes because I’m not entirely sure of the parameters used in this case. However, I remember very well that I was surprised how easily the current work on the skin of this man. I remember because he is an electrician and I said him, you must be very careful because a high discharge in his job, would be fatal for you.
I keep fixed the last shot of Picoflash: .001 s, 99% and a single pulse. The intensity of the slow thermolysis is what I change, so, 0.1 s, between 50% and 60% (can not remember), less than 400 e.l. But I had to press the pedal twice thicker hairs. I chose Multiplex because it is faster than other systems and since the skin is very strong in this area, the speed was a determining factor.

Great photos.
This lucky man will have a hair free back after his failed treatments.

80% of the hairs permanently gone after 1 clearing is fantastic!

Jossie,

Does this man have a receding hairline as well? He will just love it when all is finished. Nice work dear colleague.

Thank you for this Josefa. Very nice of you!

The area my practitioner covered was very similar to this one, the only exception is that I did not have 100% clearence in the area. I would say 90% in my case.

My hairs are much finer though, does it mean they’re easier to kill?

The 80% kill rate is amazing but I doubt the lady that worked on me achieved something as amazing as that! I prefer to be realistic at this point without creating huge expectations.

I’m just waiting at this point.

You are amazing at what you do! I wish you would live closer

Thank you very much Dee.
You are clairvoyant? just kidding. Indeed, he has a slight diffuse bald in his head.

Yes, a follicle shallower means less area to destroy, thus less chance of regrowth and less pain too.

Give her a chance Jonh. Talk to her of your previous failed attempts and ask her to put the 5 senses in her work. You’re not paying for plucking (or accidentally), you are paying to kill the hair that you do not want.
