I have been diagnosed by a dermatologist with Folliculitis on the insides of my lowere legs and have tried Tend Skin, a ton of perscription creams, shaving and waxing. I get red bumbs and I have been squeezing out the ingrown hairs which only makes it look worse. I am considering laser hair removal but am not sure if this would help my condition. I have fair skin and dark hair so I was told that I would be a good candidate but I am not sure whether to invest in the process if it won’t cure my problem.
Help! thanks

Folliculitis can sometimes be helped by increasing Vitamin A and D intake. Some patients even find a vitamin A cream can be helpful. You might ask your dermatologist about this before committing to laser or electrolysis.
