Bill reins in doctor offices

A proposed bill that’s already received committee approval in the Florida House of Representatives would limit the number of satellite offices doctors could operate, with dermatological practices getting the most restrictions.
In satellite offices, patients are seen and operated on by nurse practitioners and physician assistants. There are currently no requirements that doctors spend time in these affiliated offices.
