I think that is a very wise decision. I feel badly for young girls who spend so much money, time and effort for the heartache of no results and sometimes, by the time they realise the futility of their efforts, they may no longer be able to spend that amount of money on themselves due to having a mortgage or children. If I had a hundred dollars for every person who initially blew off electrolysis thinking that LASER was the better, more advanced thing, or even the more certain thing to do, I would have enough money to create “The MacDonalds” of Electrolysis and bring good treatment to the entire world.
Some of my worst cases have been people who were referred to me at the start of their hair removal journey, went to LASER instead, and ended up coming back to me to fix what ever situation LASER created. In these cases, they would have spent less money had they come to me first, and now they were in the situation of having spent all that money on LASER, and now they need to not only spend more money on electrolysis, but their electrolysis costs them more due to the situation LASER caused that makes the hair removal go slower than if they came with Virgin Hair.
In all fairness, some people get a reduction that reduces the amount of electrolysis time they need, but it is still a roll of the dice. I don’t know that they save any money, although they may save some treatment time when all their hair removal appointments are totalled for time in the treatment chair.
