finally starting it

i have started the sides of my face with electrolysis in spring 2007, and i am going to start other areas of my body next week. finally. well the areas that i need to do are : face (upper lip, sides of face, chin), neck, whole back, whole stomach, whole arms, hands (knuckles too), chest area. I have a crazy amount of hair and i know that it is going to take a while to clear everything up. i regret not starting sooner, but i can’t do anything about it now. if anyone needs to see my pics of how bad my situation is, i have that in the link below “can’t take it”.

what i want to know is:

in an approximate estimate, how long of a time may i be looking at for finishing these areas.

what ways can i maximize results and reduce the amount of time that i will need to do this for? i was thinking about going to two electrologists and have both of them focus on certain areas. i thought that may be more of an efficient way to manage my scarce resource of time.

also, how long does it take for the scars/scabs to go away, on average? and is there anything i can use other than medicine and drugs because those are horrible for you…any natural remedies?

also another thing, has anyone ever tried doing the areas i want to do without numbing? i want to do it without numbing cause the medication is bad for you, and i am on this whole makeover plan and using it would greatly ruin it for me. is there anything natural numb-ers i can use?

thanks in advance to anyone who responds. it really is greatly appreciated.

the fastest way would be to have as many and longer treatments as possible up front, so that you get to a clearance on all the areas you’re treating as soon as possible. after that, you would have to come in to clear all the areas as soon as new hair pops up. if you continue like this and catch the hair as soon as it shows up after your initial clearance, you would be done fastest. this is a large area to cover though. So clearance will take a while. After that, it’ll take about 12 months if you stay on schedule and do the above like clockwork.

so how long do you think it will take for the initial clearance, and how long for the scabs, and what do you think about the two electrologists?

It’s impossible to really tell how long it will take for the clearance over the internet. The best way for you to find out is to come in for your treatment and judge by the speed of your electrologist. You’ll see how much she can clear in an hour and then estimate how long it will take for the entire area. I don’t think two electrologists are necessary unless one doesn’t have the time per week that you want to to dedicate to this. I would pick the best fastest one and stick with them if they can fit you in as often as you are willing to come in for long appointments.
