Is it safe to have your eyebrows done?
I’m not talking about full blown removal but just so I don’t have a unibrow anymore.
Personally I would not want a laser near my eyes.
Professional Electrolysis on the other hand, would be perfect for that area.
Most people’s hair in the gabella region is too fine for laser, even though it may be dark. This area is the domain of electrolysis, which can “see” every hair structure, any color of hair, on any color of skin. It is very precise as well. I see many clients who got less than stellar results from lasing the gabella.
Lots of discussion on this lately. Electrology is the way to go here.
Isn’t electrolysis more painful?
I am getting my brows done at this time. My electrologist uses a numbing cream on the brows and its not to painful. There are few places that is more sensitive than others but its not all that bad. I know that the brows look great and I have had about 4 hours of treatment so far. I have more work that will need to be done but I am getting to the point that I can go every 3 weeks now instead of every week.
No. People do just fine and have done so for over a century. My clients tell me that tattoos, waxing and laser hurts more. Sensation is the least of your concerns if electrolysis works over any other method on earth today. What difference does it make if nothing else works better than electrolysis or maybe unsafe?
Whats the cost been like per treatment?
How many treatments are typical for brows?
Cost depends on how long you are on the table, which is related to how many hair you have. For this area, it is small, so the strategy is to thin out the bigger hairs first, then the medium and smaller longer hair s next. I usually work no longer than 15 minutes in this area, so the cost should be minimal. Cost also depends on the practitioners overhead, which varies as you can imagine.
Thank you for the feedback. Ill look into it in my area.
