Hello everyone,

Quick question, how long does it take to do the eyebrows (eyebrows that have been tweezed for many years … @10) using the blend method?

Plan on a year a more if you have heavily tweezed hair and a lot of it. You must stop plucking and see your electrologist frequently as new hair comes through the skins surface. Most of my eyebrow ladies are finished in 9-12 months and I rely on blend mostly, followed by microflash. Sometimes we go into the 12, 13, 14 month level, but the hairs are really weak at that point.

You got to stick close to your electrologist for several months. You will observe that the hairs are getting sparser and softer. Just know that there is A LOT of hair in this small area. It’s so amazing to see the actual amount of hair follicles one has when one puts on the magnification glasses.

Stop that, you are scaring me! Eyebrows can be pretty scary things. They seem to be relentless, spreading and growing like weeds. Yipes!

…even with that method, the blend, you think it will take longer then 1 year!??

We can’t predict the exact amount of time for any area on a specific person. All we can do is speak in general terms. It is understandable that people want to know the answers to “how long” and “how much” questions, so I personally will stick my neck out a little and give a general time frame. If your electrologist is perfroming electrolysis correctly and you are keeping on a good schedule, permanent hair removal will be yours whether it be done with the blend method or thermolysis.

Is a year really too long to expect to achieve this goal, especially when that’s your only hope for permanent hair removal in this area? If you need to go beyond a year by a month or two, are you going to throw in the towel and give up at this point?

And Aliciadarling, no need to be scared as most of the hair follicles on the eyebrows contain hair so small that no one can see them and they probably will never turn into evil monster hairs in the future. They are just there hanging out doing no harm.
