Eyebrow hairs weakened and keep shedding

I just wanted to ask for some opinions on this. I had laser between my eyebrows almost year ago and I find that about 5 hairs that are critical to the shape of the brow keep shedding very quickly. They all grow back every time but they shed when I exfoliate my face. it’s as if the laser weakened them.

Can I do anything about this? I want them to stay on for longer lol

Bump…

Other than Rogain (which I don’t recommend), what could you do but wait and hope you have a rebounding of the hairs in the years to come? The only other thing I could suggest is making sure you don’t have any underlying thyroid problems, as that can also reduce eyebrow growth. Of course, if one has thyroid problems, there are other symptoms to look out for.

Honestly i would not use laser for the eye area. Laser is far from an exact science…have you considered electolrsis for such a delicate area. Eyes need all the TLC we can muster!!

There are over-the-counter eyelash growth products that you can use on your eyebrows. My suite neighbor is an eye doctor, and he read through the ingredients of the one I carry and said there was nothing dangerous in the product. One of my 80 year old clients began using this and we’ve both been amazed at how her lashes and brows filled out.

I will look into that. Thanks.

Eyebrow work is the domain of electrolysis. It is very precise.

Latisse is one product you may want to research. Bed, Bath & Beyond carries a product as well. Read the ingredients and get an opinion from a doctor or better yet, a pharmacist.
