Does anyone recommend epilight for hair removal? Any advice???

I believe this is an IPL, not a real laser. If you have light skin and dark hair, find a reputable place with a alexandrite or diode laser. and if you have darker skin, find one with nd: Yag laser. You do do a search on this site for recommendations in your area.

Epilight is IPL. I am skeptical about the long-term effectiveness of IPL. Some dermatologists claim it is better than laser but they don’t really offer reason why it would be.

Epilight is some kond of IPL device. In a german clinical study, there has been found some indication that epilight was not quite as effective as the “ellipse” ipl2 device. In actual practice this means you need more treatments for the same effect. (so: if the price is low enough to compensate for the lower efficiency, it might be attractive anyway.)
