I used to go for EpiLight sessions in UK- an IPL method of removing hair and it really worked for me. I moved to the US a year ago with no access to any ipl treatments so i started waxing, threading, plucking and scarring my skin. Now im considering lightsheer diode- will i waste my money on this treatment?? I’ve already tried YAG laser in the UK but it didnt work for at all- waste of money. I have indian skin tone- hair is visible, black, thick on my face
Are you male or female? Why do you still need treatments if Epilight “worked”? On most people, especially darker skins, it actually doesn’t. How many treatments did you have?
Lack of results often depends not just on the machine, but on the person who is operating it and setting the settings. There are many Yags out there. Do you know what machine was used and what settings?
For your situation, I would find an experienced person with a good Yag like GentleYAG to do this. Also, I’m assuming your hair is hereditary and not a cause of hormonal imbalance.
LightSheer is a diode and could be good, but hard to tell over the internet if it’s too powerful for you and will burn at high enough settings. they would need to do test spots.
