Epilar system?

It’s not yet widely spread but I know that some cuntries are using it and now it’s becoming available in USA. I tried not to get too excited because we all know about these so called “permanent solutions”. I emailed them couple days before:

Hi.

Is there any way to buy Epilar for personal use or is it only to be used at doctors office?

Also is it permanent of just delays hair regrowth?

thank you

sincerely,

their answer:

The Epilar System is for professional use only why we don’t sell it retail or to private persons. We would be more than happy to direct you to a spa/day spa/clinic in your area that carries our product and offers treatments.

The results once a complete treatment has been completed are permanent!

has anybody tried it?
has anybody heard soemthing about it?

I did a little reaserch and people say it works just like laser and after completed treatments hair regrowth is stable and whatever comes back is soooo fine sometimes unvisible to the naked eye. I actually stomped on 2 people customers that used it. and they say it is really as good if not better than laser for dark hair and no contest when using for blonde hair.
I am looking for spas in my area that is using this guys:)

I looked this up and it talked about liposomes and penetrating agents and inhibitors, oh, and after 8-12 treatments it is permanent.

It was developed by dermatologists working in Denmark quietly over the last four years. Under the radar.

You wax first to clear out the follicle and then put the stuff on.

Interesting.

  1. Just got back from the ASDS conference in October. Preeminant dermatologic surgery conference. Not a mention of this product by anyone. Not a peep. hmmm.

  2. Thermalase. You waxed to remove the hair from the follicle, then put on a carbon slurry which would go down into the follicle and then lasered. This would then kill the hair. It was no more permanent than waxing. Subsequent biopsies showed that the carbon wasn’t getting down into the follicle at all. When you pull out the hair shaft, the virtual space called the hair follicle disappears. Kind of like trying to find the hole your spoon was occupying in thick soup. It’s there for a split second.

  3. Melandine. Squid melanin to darken blonde hair. Biopsies proved that the melanin wasn’t penetrating deep enough into the skin to even reach the hair root.

When something is launched without fanfare and without any research presented in the aesthetic market by “dermatologists” who would know better (and haven’t seemed to discuss it with anyone else), my hoax meter goes on full alert.

I know that’s weird. It’s so quietly pushed into market and almost nobody knows anything about it. I figure if it was just as good as laser and better for blonde hair we would have heard more about it.
Another thing is what is the deal with this being only used by spas and not sold to regular people. It’s just two creams that you put on skin after waxing. what can be so hard about that that only spas can do it??
