Epila is a Korea-made device that supposedly removes hair by laser. Similar devices are typcially scams.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not evaluated this device for safety and efficacy. This means it may be illegal to import these devices into the US, and your shipment might be intercepted and impounded at the border if coming from overseas. US-based sellers may be in violation of federal law in promoting and selling these devices.
It is highly unlikely that this device has the energy output needed to cause long-term or permanent hair reduction.
Most of these home use “laser” devices are in fact diode laser pointers, like the kind used to scan UPC codes at the grocery store.
If you cannot afford to waste time or money on unproven and potentially unsafe devices, you should avoid Epila until the device has been properly evaluated.
