Embarassing Hair on Tip & Bridge of Nose

I’m not a hirsute man. However I have a problem area on my nose. Most of the pores from the tip to the bridge have thick black hair growing out of them.

I used to shave it every morning. A few years ago I tried laser hair removal. Had many many sessions. Some hairs stopped growing while some just became thinner.

Slowly the hairs seem to be recovering. More and more are popping up and they are thick and black again. So I am wondering a few things.

  1. How common are hairs on the nose? In women? In men?

  2. Is it an Italian (genetic) thing? (I’m Italian).

  3. Is it considered universally unattractive? I’ve seen some men let the hair between their eyebrows grow and it doesn’t seem to effect their attractiveness/confidence.

  4. Any alternatives to laser? Laser took too long and was too expensive for the limited results I got.

  5. Should I even care about the hairs? Or is it a “metrosexual” thing? (I have had women tell me they thought it was gross).

hi, im 24 and im startin to get hairs pop up here an there in this area so will be interested in peoples opinions.

when i look closely at my nose i have lots and lots of fine blond hairs and would never consider laser on this area as it would probably make it worse. gotta be electrolysis for sure, i imagine its quite common for men to get this area done with electrolysis, prob quite easy aswell. at the moment i jus shave, problem is i know for a fact when the hairs get darker they will end up lookin like black heads.

as far as my opinion on what it looks like, when i see usually older men with hairs on their nose i think it looks absolutley gross. but maybe thats just me.

I know many men with hairs on their noses that they pluck. This is not abnormal. However, they do pluck them, so I guess it’s not accepted in society to have them

Laser is an overkill for this small areas. You need to start electrolysis and you will be on your way with permanent results. You should read the electrolysis section of this forum to gather all the information you need to get the proper treatment.
