Hello!
I’ve only had two electrolysis sessions so far. It was on my lower leg and with the first lady it was very painful I didn’t feel any of the hair being pulled but the zap was painful. My leg was constantly twitching. I had some swelling the following day and scabbing that lasted about 3 weeks.
With the second lady, well, she offered a trial it was about a minute long and at that time I did not feel the hairs being pulled at all, I only felt the zap and it was not as painful as with the first lady. Now, when I went to the actual session with her, the zap was not painful at all, and I did feel pulling with nearly every hair when she pulled it out. She told me that it’s because the bulb is thicker than the opening it’s being pulled out of. I came home and tweezed some leg hairs to compare the sensation and it felt the same. She told me that the hairs came out very easily and when I tweezed my leg hair it comes out very easily as well, it’s not like when I pluck my eyebrows and have resistance. Now, I want to believe her, she has 30+years experience and even teaches others but this is what I’ve heard others say should not be happening and I am just feeling very confused …any advice is welcome.
