Electrolysis to thin coarse eyebrows?

Newbie here,
I have excessive facial hair and electrolysis has been working really well

I was wondering if it’d be risky to consider starting electrolysis on my eyebrows too. Each individual brow hair is very coarse wiry and jet black, so even after getting them threaded or plucked they still have a very bold dense look. I’ve been plucking and threading them for several years, and I was wondering if electrolysis would be able to get my brow hairs to grow back softer and less coarse. However, I don’t want to remove the hairs entirely

Nope, electrolysis wont do that.We can easily and safely shape the brows but we cant do anything to the growth of hair other than to stop it completely for that given hair follicle.

As far as I’m aware, there is no treatment that will cause your hair to grow back softer and less coarse. Can you speak to a beautician about semi-permanent options for dying your eyebrow hair to reduce the boldness?

Hi! As others mentioned, electrolysis is often all or nothing, and it would be very hard to predict the level of regrowth from treatments with reduced energy. I recommend only treating hairs you don’t want to return at all, then possibly bleaching them so they aren’t as bold. An experienced electrologist might be able to thin the density of hairs a bit, but it’s better to err on the side of caution!
