Electrolysis on the toes and feet

I’ve done a bunch of research on electrolysis as I will be starting my journey soon. BUt I have not found any information on electrolysis on the toes and the top of the feet. I have about 20 black hairs on each foot (yes I counted lol) and would love to be able to throw on some flip flops and not have to search for hairs first! My question is removing the hair from the feet the same as other body parts? Would I have to go weekly for apts? If I cleared this area lets say tomorrow how long would I have till I’d have to go back? Obviously no one can give me an exact answer. But I am about 40 miles away from an eletrologist and won’t be starting treatment on other areas till I move. If I could clear my toes/feet and not have to go back for a while I might make that trip since the hot weather is coming and I live in flip flops lol thank you!!

Removing hair from the feet is exactly the same as other body parts.
If you do not tweeze or shave this area months before the treatment, you will get 70 to 80% permanent reduction after only 1 clearence (if your electrologist will do it properly of course).

Specialists of electrolysis treatment would say that 3 clearances will permanently remove 99% of hair.

About your question, “how long till you should have to go back to a new session”, I would say it really depends on the “protocol” of your electrologist…

Thank you for your answer. So would this be a good way to try out an electroligist? If I let the hair on my feet and toes grow and go for a complete clearance i should be clear for a few weeks correct? I don’t want to begin with someone on my face and go weekly for months to find out they are not doing it correctly. Maybe I can use this area to test it?

Absolutly, you can use this area to test it, or use a little patch area on the arm, for exemple.

letting the hair grow few mouths (minimum 3 mounts) before the complete clearance is a very good idea. Of course you can trim the hair with little scissors or/and bleach them if you want it, do not tweeze or shave them.

After the first clearance, you should wait 3 mounths in order to let the hair, which were not visible the first time, grow. After that your electrologist could do a second complete clearance.

But just with one clearance you could see if your electrologist remove hair properly : you should see a visible and obvious reduction of the amount of hair in the treated area. (70 to 80% of permanent reduction).

taking a photo before the treatment is a good thing too, in order to show the difference after a clearance.
