Is it ok to have electrolysis on skin that is slightly tanned. The area is the back of my neck above the collar and it got slightly red/tan from being outside. I know with laser you cannot, but can I proceed with electrolysis?
Yes it’s safe to have electrolysis when you’re tanned, but expect to develop temporary side effect like hyper-pigmentation. PIH will fade completely after period of time.
Never a problem to have electrolysis. Skin color doesn’t matter. Hair color doesn’t matter. Hair structure doesn’t matter.
Just don’t get a sunburn and then have electrolysis. Wait until your skin has recovered from the burn to have electrolysis.
