Hi everyone, I’m new on this forum but have read a lot of the different topics hoping to find answers to my questions. As english in not my mother tongue, please excuse me for the mistakes I might do.
I’m living in France where there are very few electrologists to begin with. Therefore finding someone who is competent is even more difficult. I’ve recently had my first electrolysis session on the side on my bikini line and the upper part of the tigh (1 month ago) with a 2 hour-session. 1 month later I have a lot of PIH and some ingrowns that are leaving me with discolorations. I’ve found little information regarding the evolution of electrolysis-induced PIH on black skin so I’m coming to seek your opinion (based on your experience).
-Does the PIH on my skin feels in the “normal range” for you? (for my skin type).
-Most of the hair that was treated grew back (it seems thinner but I might have to wait for them to grow more before making a conclusion). If I were to continue with the same settings, would my skin suffer (more pronounced dark spots)?
-As I don’t think there was any overtreatment (feels more like undertreatment to me), can I hope for the dark spots to eventually disapear?
I’ve been obsessing over my bikini line getting wider (because of waxing, I do not have any hormonal disorder) and now I’m obsessing over dark spots :tired:… life is hard
Thank you in advance for your answers!
