Hello, I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for good electrologists in NJ/NY. I live in Central Jersey and can go as far as NY. In particular, I have very bad ocd and am particularly worried about lasting skin damage to the collagen. I understand how the electrolysis healing process works but I am very afraid of trusting the wrong person and facing permanent collagen loss or skin damage. Does anybody know of an electrologist who is skilled at taking care of the skin during the electrolysis process? As in avoiding all permanent skin damage and keeping scabbing/hyperpigmentation to a minimum?
I apologize if I sound too demanding. I’m very young and anxious about making these types of decisions in a position where my parents don’t have the background to guide me.
