Thanks for all the information you’ve collectively presented on this site. It’s very helpful. I am a girl with a really bad body and facial hair problem and find waxing just too costly. I was thinking of attempting laser but I fear that because my hair is so thick and grows so fast that maybe laser wouldn’t work. Is there any way to predict whether laser will be permanent based on the type of hair a person has?
I’d also be very keen to get any recommendations you all have for practitioners of laser and electrolysis in the LA (downtown/hollywood) area. I’m new here and I don’t know of a place, and I don’t have a car yet.

If you wanted to minimize your chances for negative outcomes, you would go with probe electrolysis on your face. Put Los Angeles in the search feature and there are a lot of recommendations that have been made in the past, including those given by LAgirl.
I have come to see that electrolysis for the face is best and laser can be good for certian body areas. My electrolysis practice has flourished thanks to women who have favored going the laser route first, only to learn that they need electrolysis to finish up. Not true for everyone, but why risk your wad of hard earned money?
