Electrolysis for fine hair in Europe

Hi! I am female and due to hormonal imbalances, I have developed a lot of very fine hair all over my body. The areas that I am most interested in treating are my face, neck and breast. I have not found a skilled electrologist in my area so I can go anywhere in Europe and have marathon sessions. My questions are:

  1. Is electrolysis effective for people with hormonal imbalances?
  2. Do marathon sessions have permanent effect on the face?
  3. Could you please reccomend some good electrologists in Europe that work pretty fast(as there is a lot of hair) on fine hair?

Thanks in advance!

1 yes it is.
2. Any electrolysis on the face can have a permanent effect on the follicles treated. To treat the face and remove all the hair permanently takes a minimum of 12-18 months of contiguous treatments. If there is a hormonal issue stimulating new hair follicles at the conclusion, ongoing treatments may be required, but the hair follicles destroyed remain incapable of treating a hair and one does not grow new hair follicles after they are born. For this reason even extreme hormonal issues, eventually resolve.
3 Nope! For electrologists in europe there are lots of them but I have not been treated by any of them and cannot attest to their speed or efficiency, if you mean electrologists who will do marathon sessions , I know of none currently accepting new clients.
It is almost always cheaper and a better way to do things to recieve your electrolysis in your local market . Not only does the electrologist have to be able to accomodate long sessions, but you will very quickly learn your own tolerance for electrolysis as well. Without the use of a local anesthetic, I have very few clients who can sit through a session longer than 4 hours in a single day. And every day after that you begin again your tolerance will decrease.

For this reason wile I will still accept long session clients at my clinic here in canada, I almost always recommend against the client taking such drastic steps. In some cases people just have no local option and in those cases I do the session, but warn them of the likelyhood they may not be able to do half the amount they think they can.

Thanks so much for your reply.
Since my hair is very fine(peach fuzz) I have not yet found a local electrologist willing to work on me. So doing marathon sessions somewhere in Europe is my only option.
However, if I do find one locally, do you think is a good idea to get started with them for the first 10 months( I am moving abroad afterwards) and then go to someone else for marathon sessions?
Could you still give me the names of those you know even if they are not taking new clients at this moment? Maybe they will in the future.

Welcome to hairtell Ana,
I sent you a private message.

If you see Adrien - you are in very good hands, ana11!!!

Thanks for your response, Adrien! So good of you.

The are only three I know of that do long sessions, Adrien would be one, Beate Ritzert another and a third who has had a years long waiting list for years and so who isnt worth mentioning as an option. If Adrien is taking clients for long sessions, that would be my best recommendation. He’s located in Malaga spain as I recall.I havent had treatment by any of them, and know them by reputation and professional contact only.
