Electrolysis and Male Teenagers.

Hey guys just a quick general question how effective is electrolysis for male teenagers who are also physically active with gym.

It’s perfectly effective on any hair that’s present. The issue with treating teenagers is that it’s rare that a teen has all their hair growth currently present, so although electrolysis can and does effectively treat the hair that’s present, it can’t treat the hair that will grow when you’re in your twenties until after it emerges.

That is true, but people still grow new hair in their thirties, forties, and so on. My father never had hair on his back until the recent years. This should be explained, so that the client knows what to expect, but it shouldn’t prevent someone from removing the hair that has already emerged and enjoy a hairless life while they are young.

Another point is the gym. If you sweat on the freshly treated areas, you will likely irritate it more, have longer healing time, and may develop little pustules/pimples that will last a week or so. Better to use good aftercare and stay out of the gym for a couple of days post treatment.
