Any good electrologists near or in these areas? I’m a male with coarse body hair, thanks.
I used to live in concord not long ago. I went to Cameo Electrolysis Studio in Walnut Creek for awhile , until I moved away. Her equipments are old, but she is very experienced. I did get a good amonut of reduction on my sideburns while I visited her.
My current electrologist I can’t say anything yet since I havent seen her long enough to get lasting results.
Hi androby! Good to see someone local on this site–I live in Berkeley. I saw an electrolygist named Susan Feiga for three years (inconsistently) in San Francisco. You can reach her at 1(415) 781-4264. She is an excellent electrolygist and I had enormous success with her. I no longer see her because I ran out of funds and am now trying to learn d.i.y. electro to save costs (hence my presence on this site!).
My best friend sees a woman in Oakland near Rockridge BART named Jean. She offers pain management before treatment for absolutely painless electrolysis. She loves Jean who she describes as a sweet British woman with very high morals. She can be reached at 1(510) 653-3100.
If Livermore is more convenient for you, I would recommend Vineyard Electrolysis & Clinical Aesthetics. I forgot the woman’s name but I met her last fall when I was considering becoming a student of electrolysis and found out that she is a practical instructor for American Institute of Education, one of two electrolysis schools here in California. She was really really nice, has an apilus platinum (supposedly more comfortable electrolysis due to the unique frequency it uses), and she obviously is highly competent to an instructor.
Best of luck androby!

And a place called Castro Electrolysis with any consumer discussion. Castro’s web site is gone, so I don’t know if they are still in business.
What body hair are you looking to treat? For COARSE male body hair, you will really get a lot more for your money if you go with laser, at least to get the first 80-90% of that hair. Coarse body hair is exactly the type of hair that laser works best on. And you’d only need to go in once every 2-3 months for a treatment as opposed to weekly treatments of several hours each removing one hair at a time.
