Anyone know anything about this?

Save your money for professional treatments, or, ignore this warning, buy the product, and start your own thread here telling us about how it did not work and you could not get a refund.
No need for the attitude.
I’m gonna give the One touch product a go, I’ve heard some good things.
Attitude?
What James is trying to say, is that the product is most likely a scam and you’d be better to seek a different alternative.
It’s hard to convince someone with an attitude that they have an attitude, so others nomally have to just bear with it.
The One Touch will work much better for you and it’s also a lot cheaper. You may want to consider some tips available at http://www.geocities.com/hairfreethere/
Jimmyh,
Truth is, it’s not attitude, it’s a dead-on remark with a bit of good-natured ribbing. Hang around this board a bit longer and you’ll learn to highly value the pros feedback and see why we react to scams the way we do, with ribbing or otherwise. The laser unit would probably be good to bother your goldfish, but not much else. The seller wants their money back from the product.
Be aware that the One Touch is no saving grace either. To really get things done right, go with a pro, the speed and accuracy they work at is several magnitudes above what you’ll ever do with a One Touch, and if you’re serious, you’ll learn loads by observing their equipment and technique. For the price you would have paid for the laser, you could actually get an old Instatron SS-69 that would run circles around a One Touch …and some commercial grade lasers that cost $50,000. No kidding.

I take it this is similar to the one touch except a better quality machine?
Would it be worth the price
Now you are looking at a REAL electrolysis machine. It is galvanic only, so it can’t step up to Blend or Thermolysis should your abilities ever equal those methods, but at least you would have an honest and true professional machine that is guaranteed to work as well as the abilities of the person operating the machine will allow.
Comparing this to a one touch is like comparing a tricycle to a Harley-Davidson. Ok, maybe just a Kawasaki.
I’m pretty tempted to buy this machine. Is this method the same that is shown on http://www.geocities.com/hairfreethere/ I’ve never done this before, would a first time user be able to operate a machine like this. If it 100% works and is relatively easy to use I will buy it for sure.
Thanks
The Sterex SX-B can be used as a Short Wave Diathermy, Galvanic or Blend Epilator (the SX-G is their Galvanic only model). That price is about one third of retail.
It will work (as would a One Touch), but it will be easier to use primarily because of the higher quality probes that can be incorporated and a better body contact device. If you use only the Galvanic capabilities, it will not be much faster than a One Touch, except for avoiding the hassles of the One Touch design (bent probes and dripping salty water). You can learn the other modalities for faster removal, but as a beginner, you would be well advised to educate yourself before doing any skin damage.
