I do see some used units going for about 10 grand
Spectra Clear Spa Touch Pro Laser IPL YAG Hair Removal for example.
Are there any concerns with older used equipment for example the laser/diode dying out? Also if someone could comment on the Spa Touch Pro Laser IPL YAG Hair machine itself that’d be great.
Just as what I am thinking, can someone answer this? I am looking for a home-laser kits. Do they work???

Units sold as home units don’t work for Permanent Hair Removal, nor do they provide the typical level of Hair Reduction that a professional unit does.
A used professional unit would only have the possibility of requiring service, and the manufacturer would connect you to an authorized service center, or you could ship the item back to them for service.
Home units do not work, or rather they do not produce results. We’d all be using them if they did.
SpaTouch is an old machine marketed to spas and doesn’t have good reputation. You also have to realize that there are maintenance costs associated with buying a professional machine. I’m not sure what you’re looking to treat, but for over $10K, you can get it done professionally with the best machine out there.
