Hello everyone. Today I underwent a double laser session on my chin area. I was very concerned about being burnt because I never knew you could do two types of laser in one session but, oddly enough, my skin is healing rather nicely, after only a few hours. She applied ice to the area right away and also some proper ointment to heal the skin. They never did this in the other place I used to go.
Some of my background: I am female, 26, white skin, dark brown hair. I started developping hair on the area under my chin after being exposed to alexandrite laser on probably ill managed settings. I underwent 8 sessions of alexandrite laser on my upper lip and chin area and the chin area started developping more hair and also new hair on areas where I previously had none.
So I searched around for an electrologist to solve the problem. The place I went to today offers electrolysis services and the electrolygist is specialized in that field and also in laser.
She convinced me on having the area submitted to a laser treatment with the proper specs and she decided on using two types of lasers: Alexandrite and Yag so I wouldn’t have to undergo such an intensive electrolysis treatment right away.
I scheduled another appointment next month to start electrolysis. Hopefully, the area will develop less hair for her to work on.
