This is horrible and in the comments she doesn’t want to recognize this will leave marks on her client
The video has shown that the person doesn’t understand knowledge regarding skin, such as:
Scars develop when both outermost layers (aka epidermis) + deeper layers are damaged.
No visible scars when only one of the two affected.
My jaw dropped. It’s not even electrolysis. It’s the same technique used for extracting hairs to be transplanted onto the scalp. From what I understand, this often leaves scars at the donor site.
I was going to post this on HairTell, Michael, so thank you. This hit our private forums yesterday. This is the VERY kind of brutality to the skin that causes all the hyper anxiety about temporary skin manifestations that can normally occur with good and proper electrolysis care. We get hit with many questions about red dots and scabbing and consumers want to understandably know if they will scar. This fuels the unrealistic psycho consumer.

That’s what I would like to emphasize here. Good electrolysis care does not create visible scars and I am angry that the word “electrolysis” is mentioned in this piece. Such injustice. This is why electrologists here on HairTell spend a ton time trying to educate and reassure the new consumer. I hope this Dr knows the angst she is causing her patients, not to mention, a worldwide community of hard working professional electrologists that can remove any hair structure, any hair color on any color of skin, without this savage brutality to the skin.

Thanks for the update Dee Dee. This video is pure insanity and is coming from (I suppose) a physician who knows absolutely nothing about electrolysis … she is creating her own drastic technique. Over the years, these types of horrific treatments pop up now-and-then.
In 1980, an electrologist in San Francisco used a hollow needle to push actual lye into the follicle. She fashioned a miniature syringe, cooked-up a paste of pure lye and injected it into the follicle. She followed-up with a little thermolysis (a Kree unit). Her technique resulted in major disfigurements and the State eventually shut her down.
That “thing” in India must be shut-down ASAP!

Thanks for sharing this here Mike, when I saw it I was completely horrified, they claim to be an Electrologist and says it won’t work on white hair ( a good skilful Electrologist knows that’s false information, it is permanent for all hair Colour’s including white ). That’s why they chose this method… the poor clients will be scarred, physically, mentally and emotionally!!

I just don’t know why a cosmetic dentist (Dr.Sonia Oberei) is performing this FUE procedure to remove hair follicles? Her scope of practice is related to teeth.
I posted comments on her IG yesterday, just checked if she had deleted them like other comments. She has actually deleted the reel… nothing there… Thank goodness!

Maybe she understands now why this should never be done and is concealing this horrible practice for good?
Fingers crossed she never undertakes that procedure again.
A few weeks “in the brig” would help her even more!
Perhaps that is where she has been carted off to… one can only hope
