I was told by an electrologist (NOT any of those two electrologists who were tabling there company who talked to me face-to-face!!! This is a different electrologist from a different company) that he uses galvanic and blend on distorted follicles in order to “correct” them so that at a later time he can use thermolysis on them. I have never heard of lye making a follicle straighten. Is that all you need to do to make distorted follicles straighten out again? Just pump them full of lye, and they’ll unfurl? I was told by another electrologist that once a follicle is distorted, there is nothing that can be done to undistort that follicle. As in, once it’s curved, it will stay curved forever. Who should I believe?
