I have posted before on these forums that I have been doing laser for several years now, but that I am still getting regrowth. Does anyone know if this could be because my technician uses a 2002 Candela GentleLASE? I know that the Candela GentleLASE is a good brand, but could the 2002 year be something that has caused little success? In other words, are the newer Candela GentleLASES more effective? Thank you.
If they’re getting it serviced regularly, it shouldn’t matter Settings is what matters as well as type of hair being treated.
It depends on the hand piece that they use and the settings, year is almost meaningless. In fact, i was told by an engineer in the field that over the last 10 years, there has been virtually no change in the technology. Most of the difference is either cosmetic or branding.
