GentleMAX is a combo alexandrite/Nd:YAG laser, whereas GentleYAG is just Nd:YAG.

Yes, it’s suitable for type IV.

Settings depend on the mode used.

what do you mean by mode ?

if i use Gentlemax can I use it with these settings :
18 spot size
30 jouls
3 ms pulse width

If you can handle those settings on the Yag portion, that means you’re light enough for good settings on the alexandrite portion of the machine, which is more effective.
