Do females have hair in this place here too?

Hi, I am a MTF TS. When I put my hair up in a pony tail, you can see at the nape of my neck, under my hairline on the back of my neck, a whole bunch of short digusting hairs, about a few inches long, but not long enough to put in a pony tail, despite the fact I have had very long hair for over a decade.

(how’s that for a run-on sentence?! )

I have a lot of these short hairs in clusters, so you can’t just ignore them. I think these hairs are the ones that get caught up in necklaces when I wear them, making the necklace hard to remove without scissors.

Is this normal? Do genetic females have this too?

When I was boy in school, the barber used to just shave that off when I got a haircut.

Yes, many females have this as well as hairs that trace down the front of the ears and into the jawline.

Some of them opt for electrolysis to remove, and/or reshape both.

Ok, good to know James! I actualy just saw some pictures of genetic females online who had this hair too, so this makes me feel better.

Most Genetic Femals have no issue with this kind of hair unless they like upswept hair-do’s, ponytails and short styles.

In the case of the short style, she would need an “edge up” just like a man would.

Thanks. I feel stupid, since being brought up as boys, T people (at least me) tend not to notice this thing, until we start wearing ponytails or the like oursleves. So I happen to be pretty clueless is some areas! Like do genetic females wear their jewelry to bed or in the shower? Do they wear a bra when sleeping or under their slips (if they wear one)? It’s questions like this that seem to be strange, but are just part of a normal girl’s upbringing that TS people don’t experience.

I understand. (I think most women laugh or consider a woman weird who sleeps in her bra, that’s what sleeping clothes are for.)

many genetic females have that neck hair and more, i personally just get mine waxed off (it hurts but if very worth it). As to the bra- no, never to bed too uncomfortable, yes under a slip unless the slip has a built in bra or if you are VERY perky, and the jewlry depends on the peice and the woman. Almost all the things you asked about I think will come to you intuetivly in time.

Thanks so much waax! Personally, I try to take off all jewelry before sleeping, and definitely before showering. Earrings and the like would be too uncomfortble sleeping. Plus I wear cheaper costume jewelry, where the gold or silver fades easily if it gets wet a lot!

I see a lot of pics of women on the web or TV where they wear jewelry while showering or sleeping though, or even swimming, so that’s what got me thinking.

<< As to the bra- no, never to bed too uncomfortable, yes under a slip unless the slip has a built in bra or if you are VERY perky >>

So are you saying if you are very perky you you don’t need to wear a bra under a slip? It would seem to me that if you are perky, then it would almost be mandatory, no? Or am I not seeing this right?

Also, the reason I asked about a bra under a slip, although not wearing one now seems bizarre to me now, was when I first transtioned and even later, I noticed a lot of full slips or camisoles had decorative lace on the top, like a bra. So it seemed redundant to have both a bra and a slip/camisole with lace, where the slip/camisole actually covered up the decorative lace on the bra!

Of course, I didn’t (and still don’t) have large breasts, especially in relation to my large torso/upper body (rib cage), that I often did not need to wear a bra for support (although I did have to to cover myself if I got too “perky”).

And I had thought I had seen a lot of movies where women were shown NOT wearing a bra under their full slip. And this was not the type of slip that had a built-in bra. I don’t know.

Sorry to have gotten off-topic and to be rambling.
