Do bigger, darker hairs also have deeper roots? Asking for science.
I’m sorry if this is a bit out of place, I just thought electrolysis pros might know this.

I’m not an expert but I don’t think there’s a direct correlation. I would be interested in hearing from someone more knowledgeable than I am on this as well!

You can get 0.004" hair on the face (male beard) that is full depth of the probe but the same thickness hair on the moustache is far more shallow.
I only do face so i cant comment on body hair :slight_smile:

Yes, im finding 0.004" (4 thou) (F4) probe matched diameter hairs to be deep around the cheeks and side burns, then shallower at the neck, then chin and then shallowest at the upper lip (moustache) , with exception of the ones that grow flat to the face, they can travel but are mostly shallow.
