I am sorry for creating a new topic, but I do wonder why all of our body parts have a different healing speed (or maybe only mine?)
By some reason, the best healing speed is on bikini, any wound there (for me mainly from ingrown hair) heal they very fast! And the worst healing speed is on thighs. On the lower leg the speed is not so fast as well. But by some reason speed of healing in thighs for me is much slower than on the lower leg.
I do wonder why thighs and knees (maybe only mine) have the lowest healing speed that all body?
Perhaps that is because certain areas of the body have a better blood supply than others. The best thing is to try and avoid getting scars because as you get older they take longer to heal especially on the lower legs and feet.
Hi ekade, I have not seen the thighs take longer to heal. Here’s an example. Most of the follicular units had 2 or 3 hairs even, and everything seems normal.
By the way, the first picture was made just before the start of Electrolysis and just after 16 laser sessions. The third picture is a few months after the single clearance of Electrolysis … until the time of the photo.

A few weeks later:
A few months later:
Oh my! 16 (!!!) laser sessions??? Why did this person kept going 16 times if it did not work after 6, for example?
Oh my dear, for the same reason most people. Because she had paid for an unlimited package sessions. Many sessions as are necessary to end the last hair.
And also because she found out too late the possibilities offered by Electrolysis. She is very happy now, but regrets not having known before.
If you look closely at the first photo, you will see that the laser did not achieve any reduction in the number of hairs. Of course I have not seen if there was a decrease in the thickness of the hair, but she says no. We can only trust her word. Therefore it is very important to take photos when we submit to treatment so expensive.
