I’ve had 8 treatments with IPL and haven’t experienced pigment changes (have had some due to former epilation and bad shaving). So I don’t get this reaction because of the IPL beam, but does this mean that I won’t get it with diode laser either or is it not comparable? I’m soon to try a new clinic that uses MedioStar diode laser.
Also I had a small test shot with this new clinic and I must say that diode laser hurts A LOT more than IPL! With the IPL you can feel how the hairs in the skinn get heated, but with the diode it was like the hole skinn was heated, more like a real burning sensation like when you get burned on the iron.
