OK, here’s a question. WHY do some of my hairs appear to start growing right at the surface, and others appear to start growing like half a centimeter below?
I can pluck hairs that have barely emerged enough to grab with a pair of needle-noses, and they end up being 5mm long!
Other, usually longer, hairs, when plucked right at the base, prove to have root-bulbs just below the surface of the skin.
Can plucking repeatedly CAUSE hairs to grow further below the surface?
