I have been having electrolysis on my chest and abs for close to a year and I am close to being done. The only issue I’m having is dead roots that the damaged follicle makes but stays stuck in the follicle. I’m not sure how to really explain it, other than a very small dark dead hair that gets stuck deep in the follicle. My electrolysis can sometimes tweeze them out but they are hard to grasp as they don’t have the consistency of a live ingrown hair. For example if she treats a weak hair the next month instead of a hair regrowing intact it is just a short dead hair that is not attached. Is there any recommendations for getting these short dead hairs out of the follicle?
It sounds like hairs that break off on their way out.
should i just keep exfoliating, and steaming to bring them to the surface? they are much harder to get out than ingrowns because they are shorter.
