After laser you get dark hairs. How bad are yours? Mine are so thick and are black- i actually feel i cant go out in public. And then i pick at them when they come out easily. I take a week of uni and this is such a disruption. What do you do?
What are are you treating? How many treatments have you had? Are you male or female?
Do you mean the thick, dark hairs that eventually fall out? If you tweeze one, is it rigid like dry spaghetti? It is normal, you can either shave them or scrub your face gently with a white washcloth and some will shed off.
Female
Treating on face
Had treatments for 3 years every 5 weeks aprox
When you have laser just before hairs shaved- then treatment- Im refering to the hairs that grow straight after the treatment. If you were to shave them wont they grow quick and thinck again.
What about those hairs that dont come of easily? What do you do with them. My hairs are really obvious but i imagine most peoples would be i think after the treatment
How do you cope with the dark thick hairs- does anyone else find them a problem?
Thanks
I’m not really understanding what you’re referring to. That may be because you’re not really understanding what laser does. After the hair is treated, it takes about 2-3 weeks for all the treated hair to shed. So it should all fall out. At first, it seems like it’s growing. But it’s actually just coming out to fall out. Have you ever experienced shedding? What laser are they using? Have you considered electrolysis if you don’t want to deal with the waiting period for the hair to shed? Because electrolysis removes the hair on the spot.
before laser treatment I have any hair on my face shaved of, so the hair that comes after are those hairs that are treated and it takes 2 weeks-3 for it to go. Yep those are the ones im referring to
It’s normal for the singed hairs to feel more prickly and harsh. If it’s too much to deal with them for 2 weeks while they shed, you should consider electrolysis instead of laser.
