Darkened skin post treatment?

My last treatment around my abdomen was about 3 months ago now, I had some typical temporary side effects but I soon noticed that the skin around the area that had been treated most had become noticeably darker.

I thought that would fade with time but since it has been three months since I had treatment and only had around 4 hours in total treatment on said area it is starting to worry me.

Picture attached, only the pros should view, I’ve been back to just shaving and what you see is three days regrowth. The area I’ve had worked on is easy to see because of the darkened skin, not because of the hair not growing back…

I apologize in advance, as I’m not a pro. I had a quick question for you - are you continuing to see your electrologist? Are you happy with your results thus far?

no worries. If you read my linked thread I felt quite a bit of pain with that electrologist and honestly felt like I experienced zero hair reduction, as she was taking me around a 45 minute train and 30 minute walk to see I decided to stop seeing her.

Any insight into what might have caused this? it’s been almost three months since my last appointment and it’s not gone away. Definitely wasn’t there before either unlike all the hair I still have.
