Curel Smooth Legs

Following the lead by Jergens and their subsidiary Biore, Curel has come out with a shave minimizing lotion for legs. They claim:

"Within four to eight weeks of daily use, the appearance of hair will be visibly reduced, so you can shave less frequently. "

As with the Jergens, this contains a small amount of sodium hydroxide, which can dissolve or soften hair.

I have tried all 3 of these products Andrea, and they dont seem to work for me. I tried the Jergens for about 3 months…nothing happened, on my 3rd bottel of the Curel, still on the first bottle of Biore…nothing seems to be happening yet.

Carrie, sorry it hasn’t lived up to the hype. :frowning:

I’ve always suspected a bit of overpromise here. While some consumers have found it to be a good moisturizure, and a few have reported reductions in time spoent shaving and time between shaving, I think their marketing has been a bit on the aggressive side.
