Coumadin Patient

Hi Guys,

I have an appointment scheduled for Monday to perform my very first electrolysis treatment!! Yay  So with all this excitement I’ve been doing further reading regarding electrolysis and I stumbled upon this website: http://www.laserelect.com/laser-hair-removal-austin-tx/index.html which gave pre-treatment instructions for laser and electrolysis. Within the pre-treatment for laser instructions it states to be free of coumadin/blood-thinners for a week!

My question is if laser requires that does electrolysis require the same? If so, I guess I can’t do this and I’d be utterly despaired if that ends up being the case ;( Knowledgeable answers are greatly appreciated.

rest assured, you don’t need to do the same things pretreatment for electrolysis as LASER. drink plenty of water, get a good night’s sleep, and eat well the week of your treatment, and you should be good.

phew, I’m relieved yet surprised at the same time. I just convinced myself that because of the procedure that of course I wouldn’t be able to do it if it required a needle being inserted and who knows what may happen to me after that. Thank you sooo much for your expert answer! I wish you were located here so I could go to you for this =) Your work is amazing! Have a blessed day!!

Aloha

so i got a good scolding from my electrologist today regarding me being a coumadin patient and having the tria. I am slowly beginning to understand the proper care and treatment that goes into body hair care and how it coincides with your health. I am pleased to say that my first appointment went extremely well and I’m glad I found a good electrologist. Anyone on Oahu looking for an electrologist: About Face by Renee is the best!! I don’t need to experience anyone else to know from the first meeting that she is an expert at what she does.
